Understanding the Top 10: Work At Home Jobs and Businesses

By: Mark Luiganiz

You really do have your work cut out for you when you want to work at home. When I say this, I mean you have so many different work at home jobs and businesses available to you on the internet, it is going to take you some time and likely, frustration to find the one that most appeals to you.

Before you get started in searching for the right work at home opportunity for you, you need to understand a few different things. The first thing you need to understand is the difference between the many opportunities available. To generalize the work at home industry, you can choose business a home business, a home job, and surveys. All of these can provide you with an income source.

A home business is an opportunity in which you actually create your very own business. This does not necessarily mean that you have to create your own products or services, but this is the type of work at home opportunity in which you actually control. In a home business, you have the highest earning potential.

With a home business, you will have to invest some money, typically between $40 and $100. You will receive a business plan, marketing tools, and access to help when you need it, but you have total control over how much you make and the type of results you see.

A home job is slightly different than a business, it is an actual job. You are working for someone else and they set the pay scale. It has a lower earning potential than the home business, but this is an area in which you can set to work your own skills. You should never choose a job that requires you to pay a fee. You are working for them, not the other way around.

With a home job, the work is relatively easy and provides you with the opportunity to use the skills you already have such as home typing, data entry, writing articles, packaging, research, and so much more.

Surveys are another great work at home opportunity. With surveys, you can earn as little as $100 each month all the way up to $10,000 each month, depending upon the time you invest. You have the opportunity to choose which surveys you take and there are many survey companies available on the internet, all paying you for your opinion. The key is to finding ones that pay you cash, instead of offering you the "chance" for prizes.

When you understand the three basic areas of the work at home industry, home business, home job, and surveys, you will have an easier time in finding exactly what you are looking for and have a greater chance for success.

Is A Work From Home Business For You?

By: Jen Brinumas

The first work from home business check point is passion. Do you have a true passion
for your work from home business idea? A work from home business will require an immense
amount of self-motivation. That level of passion will only be there if you truly
have a passion for your work from home business.

Secondly, there is the question of mental stamina. Any work from home business will
have challenges. Are you the kind of person who will rise to those challenges or
will your work from home business suffer because you can't handle the tough
decisions?

Going hand in hand with mental stamina is drive and determination. Your work
from home business will require you be driven. A work from home business will get over the
rough spots only for the person who has a positive mental attitude and a drive
to make your work from home job succeed.

Your work from home business will also demand that you be the kind of person who
lives for independence. There will be no one else to fall back on in your work
from home business. If your home based business is to succeed you must have a
take-charge attitude.

Finally, since most work at home opportunities are in some sort of service field you
must be the kind of person who likes people. A work from home business is not for the
shy introvert. The strength of your interactions with others will be the
difference in your work from home business.

So if you can feel confident about these areas then a fantastic work from home
business future awaits you. Enjoy it.

I will leave you with these words;  Working from home is not just a 'pipe dream'.  If you have had a bad string of luck with the businesses you have tried, I can only say to you - never, ever, give up hope.  If I would have given up hope years ago, I would have been in huge personal and financial ruin. Matter of fact, in my humble opinion, the only difference between the ones that make it versus the ones that don't is that one mind set. To never give up on your dreams.." - Mark L.
